ART: CRAIG REDMAN
I’ve been following Australian artist/graphic design Craig Redman for awhile now. His work is fun and quirky and he’s best when poking fun at the world he probably loves best - the fashion world. His Fashion Week videos for Darcel Disappoints (a fictional character that gets to go to all of the major fashion week events) are genius. He’s also great at illustrating some of today’s most outrageous personalities in the same style as Darcel. With his illustrations you take notice of what makes these personalities stand out (besides their ummm….personalities, of course), because the characters are just about one step above stick figures.
Craig has illustrated everyone from Anna Wintour to Kanye to Hamish Bowles, Takashi Murakami and other fashion world icons.
